Live Music Every Thursday at the OG OTTO (Arts District)

We’re bringing live music to Thursday nights at OTTO’s original 576 Congress Street location with a brand-new free concert series.

Each Thursday evening, enjoy performances by some of the region’s most talented musicians in an intimate setting — all while enjoying your favorite OTTO pizzas, fresh salads, and a full bar featuring the best in Maine craft beer on tap. The lineup features a rotating roster of great local acts, with a consistent schedule so you’ll always know who’s playing when.

Here’s the monthly lineup:

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Admission: FREE
Menu: Full OTTO menu available, including local beer, cocktails, and wine

No ticket needed — just come as you are, grab a slice, and enjoy the show. Whether you’re in the mood for rootsy Americana, upbeat rockabilly, or something completely unexpected, Thursday nights at OTTO will deliver.

OTTO Birthday Fest: 3 Days of Music, Love & Pizza

Hard to believe it’s been nearly 14 years since we opened the doors on a tiny little slice shop on Congress Street in Portland, ME. It’s been a wild ride, but none of it could have been possible without you. We truly have the best customers any business could ask for. Thank you for supporting us over the years.

To celebrate, we want to invite you to three events this June (our birthday month). We sure would love to see you.

June 4 – OTTO’s Birthday Bash on the Esplanade (Boston)
Join us from 1-4pm at Night Shift Esplanade, located right along the Charles River in Boston, MA. We’ll be descending upon the scenic Night Shift beer garden with FREE PIZZA (50 pizzas, while it lasts!) and some giveaways. Beer, pizza, and the Esplanade — what’s not to love?
No admission — open to the public. Rain date June 18.

June 11 – Resurgam Music and Arts Festival Presented by OTTO (Portland)
Come celebrate Portland’s music, arts, and youth at the second annual Resurgam Festival at the Ocean Gateway and surrounding areas. We are thrilled to be the headline sponsor for this year’s event. Stop by one of our booths for slices, games, and giveaways! The festival will feature over 50 performers on 5 stages and will showcase Portland’s creativity and youth. The event will run from 11am-6pm and is FREE and open to the public!

Swing by any of our locations where we’ll be serving $1.40 slices* all day long.

ENZO is a gem of a room. Its warmth and simplicity make it the perfect spot for birthday parties, family gatherings, rehearsal dinners, sports team functions, bridal or baby showers, and other celebrations.

Adjacent to the original OTTO location at 576 Congress Street in Portland’s Arts District, ENZO is conveniently located mere blocks from downtown hotels, music venues, the Old Port, parking decks, and several of Portland’s museums and art galleries.

ENZO also contains a piece of New England music history — the original bar from Boston’s legendary Rathskeller club, which was the premiere spot for up and coming punk, rock, and alternative acts from 1974 to 1997. (Many of your favorite artists have rested their elbows on that bar back in the day.)

ENZO shares OTTO’s kitchen, meaning all of OTTO’s offerings — pizzas, sandwiches, salads, apps and desserts — are available for your event.

Godfather Night at ENZO (576A Congress Street) — Celebrating 50 Years

Join us Saturday, July 16 from 6-10pm at OTTO’s wine bar and event space, ENZO, for an evening of Godfather-themed pizzas, cocktails, wine, music, and don’t forget the cannoli.

We’ll be celebrating with two special pizzas — one night only:

  • The Corleone — Brie, Prosciutto, and Fig Jam (white pie)
  • The Mattress — Sliced Meatballs and Fresh Basil (red pie)

Two special cocktails:

  • The Don — Whiskey, Amoretto, and Garnish, with Blood Orange and Dark Cherry
  • The Appolonia — House-made Jalapeño-infused Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Fresh Strawberry

Special wines to pair with each pizza.

Rising Tide-OTTO collab ‘Autohelm’ release party tonight at NEW Back Cove OTTO!

Join us tonight at our brand spankin’ new Back Cove location at 250 Read Street in Portland, as we start pouring the third annual release of Autohelm, a deliciously hoppy amber ale brewed by Rising Tide Brewing Company in collaboration with OTTO.

250mapOur Autohelm release party is from 5-7pm today (Wednesday, Oct 12). Rising Tide and OTTO staff will be on hand to talk about the beer, and there will be schwag! Come check out our new digs while enjoying the first pours of this delicious winter beer.

This limited special collaboration will be available exclusively at OTTO locations in Maine and Massachusetts. (Note: Only 250 Read Street will begin pouring today. Other ME locations will begin pouring early next week, with MA locations in late October.)

OTTO Back Cove location NOW OPEN

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new Back Cove location at 250 Read Street in Portland.

Currently offering takeout and delivery, this spacious location — the largest OTTO in Portland — will begin full-service dining and bar service on Tuesday, October 11.

The new location is notable for several reasons:

  • screen-shot-2016-10-04-at-12-36-02-pmIts spacious dining room and U-shaped booths make it a perfect destination for larger parties, families, or for gathering with friends.
  • Our bar features 12 taps — the most of any OTTO — and will feature the very best in regional craft beer.
  • This central delivery location means faster deliveries in and around Portland. Faster drive-times mean more delicious (and hotter) pies straight to your home, business, or event.
  • Have a birthday or other celebration? This location features a private room that can be reserved for all kinds of special occasions. (Stay tuned!)

Introducing AUTOHELM: A Hoppy Amber Ale Brewed By Rising Tide in Collaboration with OTTO

Everybody knows that pizza and beer go together like, well, pizza and beer. It’s a well-known fact that Portland, Maine has no shortage of either.

Rising Tide & OTTO: A match made in heaven

Starting December 10, in Maine, diners at OTTO will be able to pair their pie with Autohelm, a deliciously hoppy amber ale brewed by Rising Tide Brewing Company in collaboration with OTTO. By mid-December, OTTO diners in Massachusetts will be able to do the same.

This limited special collaboration will be available exclusively at OTTO.

Our neighbors at Rising Tide have been brewing beer about as long as we have been selling pizza. Both OTTO and Rising Tide have strikingly similar histories: Independent businesses launched by pairs of lifelong New Englanders with a passion for crafting artisanal provisions. Both pairs followed winding paths that led to their recent successes. Both, in just a handful of years, have become celebrated staples of the Portland food & drink scene. Both have recently cracked increasingly competitive markets out-of-state, while staying fiercely loyal to the home town. Both are also very committed to supporting local organizations and giving back to the communities in which they live and work.

While OTTO and Rising Tide have partnered on a number of occasions — road races, charity events, and other local initiatives — it wasn’t until fall of 2014 that the idea came up for an actual collaboration. It made complete sense. Soon the collaboration process began, and the brewing kicked off on November 12, with several OTTO team on site to assist.

Everyone at OTTO and Rising Tide looks forward to sharing the fruits of this exciting (and delicious) collaboration the public. The first keg will be tapped at a special kickoff event on Wednesday December 10 at our Munjoy Hill location (225 Congress Street, Portland). Rising Tide (and OTTO) brewers will be on the scene.

There will be swag.

Most importantly, there will be no shortage of delicious Portland-born pizza and beer.
