Calling artists of all ages! Design OTTO’s next pizza box and win!

We are thrilled to announce our third ‘Draw Outside of the Box’ contest, giving creatives of all ages the chance to see their design featured on thousands of OTTO pizza boxes across New England.

New for 2024: designers can now compete in one of two categories: K-12 or All Ages /Non-Students (anyone not in K-12)! In addition, the winner of the K-12 category will also win their school $1000 to support art education!

HOW THE CONTEST WORKS:
After creating and submitting your design (click here for art guidelines), OTTO will upload it to one of two photo albums on the OTTO Facebook page (one album for K-12 entries and one album for All Ages/Non-Students). These albums will serve as public galleries of all submissions. The general public votes for their favorite designs with ‘likes.’

View (and vote, with likes!) all current K-12 submissions here.

View (and vote, with likes!) all current All Ages/Non-Student submissions here.

  • Public Voting Phase (Jan 30 – Mar 30): The thirty designs in each photo album with the most ‘likes’ by 9am Eastern on Mar 30 will move on to the Judging Phase of the competition.
  • Judging Phase (Mar 30 – Apr 16): Our panel of judges will select, by way of ranked choice vote, the first, second, and third place winners in each category.

    • Hi Jenie,
If the homeschooler is K-12, then they would enter in that category. We recommend listing ‘homeschool’ as the school, since that is a required field.
      Thank you!

    • Hi Thressa — College students would enter as All Ages/Non-Students, which is a catch-all for anyone not in K-12.

      Thank you!

  1. I run The Art Department, which is an art studio for adults with intellectual uniqueness. We have an Otto right across the street from us on Congress St. and I am sure that our folks would love to participate in this! Can we submit a design as an organization or should folks do individual designs?

    • Hi Amanda — We encourage organizations and schools to participate in the contest. Designs need to be created by individuals, but you can absolutely mention in the notes if folks are entering via an organization.

      Thank you!

  2. I submitted my design in the all ages group on thursday 2/29 but it hasn’t been added for votes. I resubmitted the same design about a week later and same thing. I wrote to you twice via email and never got a response so am making a public request hoping for an answer. I really love my design and your pizza. Please let me know what the issue is. Thanks

    • Hi Jan, thank you for letting us know. There must have been a strange FB glitch — we saw your entry in the album, but when we clicked on it, it didn’t contain a caption (crediting you), and it didn’t allow us to edit it.
We have re-uploaded it, and we’re now seeing your entry in the Facebook album containing all All-Ages entries.

Direct link to your design: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=799643548862210&set=pcb.799643585528873

Apologies for the issue. But you should now be all set!
      Thanks!

  3. A headzup. I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but the submission images posted at FB are available to download on a click, available from the “3-dot” menu in the album view and the individual view. Not that there aren’t other ways to get to the image files, but maybe that option should be disabled (if that is an option in FB). Thanks. Keep on Otto-ing!

  4. International students often face numerous academic assignments and projects. Essay writing services http://australiaway.org/a/essaydaixie/ can help them share some of the workload, saving time and effort. Students can then spend more time understanding course material, participating in class discussions, and preparing for exams.
